What do we offer?

Access to supervision is now available remotely to accommodate COVID-19 social distancing restrictions by phone, FaceTime, Zoom and Skype. Reduced rates are available to support counsellors, social workers and psychologists in private practice to meet their professional development requirements.

The Professional Supervision and Coaching Centre (PS&CC) provides clinical supervision and coaching services to support the continued professional development of individuals working in the helping professions from a variety of disciplines including social work, counselling, psychology, nursing and other related disciplines.

Supervision and coaching are tailored to meet the needs of professionals ranging from tertiary students on field placement; probationary psychologists or counsellors; through to accredited practitioners; practice leaders; and executive management.

 

Our Service

PS&CC acknowledge the importance of providing a service that supports the individual to adhere to and meet the requirements of ethical and accountable practices stipulated by organisational policies and procedures; and the professional member associations including Australian Counselling Association (ACA); Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA); and Australian Psychological Society (APS).

 

Our Objectives

The overall aim of our supervision and coaching services is to promote improved client outcomes by supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices; enhancing practitioner skill development via creating a forum for critical reflection; and contributing to career satisfaction and staff retention.

 

Our Experience

PS&CC supervisors and coaches have a minimum of 10 years experience and are all fully qualified and registered members with the ACA, AASW, APS and PACFA.
